Camel Seller, Babile, Ethiopia

Pants! Too much happened today and I could show so many photos! The one's of Harar haven't made the cut, as the highlight of my day was the Camel market in Babile.

It was a crazy place – lots of camels and serious negotiations which were done very discreetly. The buyer and the seller's hands would be covered by a cloth, a series of taps, would indicate the amount that only the two of them would be party to. A sale was then agreed by a hand shake. Here is a camel seller with his camels.
