Think it will be snowing up the valley

I have been with hubby today to walk the borrowed dog, we set off together but half way along the path through the woods at Crummock we split up as I wanted to go down to the lake shore.
The sky was changing constantly and the darkness in the top of the valley could only mean it was snowing or VERY wet.
