Death of Olympia(n)

Demolition of the old Olympia swimming pool in Dundee. Making way for the new V&A.

Oh, what I'd do to go and have a root around in there. Some mornings when the light is shining through from the river side, silhouetting the diggers; dust sparkling like diamonds....

Opened originally in 1974, it was in use for just shy of 40 years

If you look close you can see the stains left by the letters O L Y M P I A
