Hawaii Day 3 - North Kohala

Year of Awesome. Day 27.

Today we spent most of the day driving in the car to the northern tip of the Big Island. It was a car sight seeing kind of day with the high winds and never ending rain. I hope that California gets just a little bit of this rain that we got yesterday!! This photo is of some old tree growing out and over the rocky terrain here. I think it is so neat how the roots grow up and over the rocks. The trees don't seen to need any soil at all.......
