Warrior

Another hectic day at work... but afterwards we headed around the corner to the Old College Quad to see the Warriors.

It's an exhibition/installation of the terracotta warriors made as traditional chinese lanterns. Originally created for the Beijing Olympics, it's now on tour and it's fabulous... Up close they're stunning and quite intricate, from afar they look like an army of Jelly babies... Either way, there's something uplifting about wandering amongst them, absorbing the light... it feels like a playground... the only thing you can't do is touch them.

It's on for a couple of weeks, 4-9 each day... is totally free to go and visit and you can wander around and take pictures galore.
