You Come and Go

A photograph a day is hard.

With so little light, I'm at the point of not being able to take another picture of muddy fields, puddle roads, or the outlines of trees. With my journey to work so often the source, the photographs seem too much the same.

Yet, that is the pattern and look of our days.

And thinking about a photograph for each day, the way it comes, and it goes, as breath does, as the tide does, as life does - is a good reminder of what it means to practice.

(The picture is from t0day's entry in 'a year with Rilke')
