Crunchy coffee cake

This week's cake (cake No.9 in my cake making career) is a crunchy coffee cake containing oats and nuts - its not too heavy and not overly strong in terms of the coffee flavour and has a really good texture. Quite possibly my favourite cake so far but I'll have to have another piece to make sure......

Last night's inaugural meeting of the village photography club was quite successful with 12 people signing up (including one professional sports photographer). We decided on a couple of photowalks for the first month plus a review meeting one evening.
