After or before the storm

If the weathermen are to be believed we are between storms. Yesterday's has blown out and the sea is calm. Birds are back on the shoreline, although the oyster catchers have not come back and I could only see seagulls. I saw a single cormorant this afternoon. We're promised more rough weather tomorrow and it's definitely been colder.
