Cherie Bomb......!

Just got this Runaways album for the first time. Having seen the film and about to read Cherie Currie's book, I wondered how good they were. Pretty good as it turns out, for 16 year olds, if you want to take age into account. Ok, much of this music is rawk and roll, but the attitude that comes over is as visceraly punk. I mean Alex Harvey was a punk in my book.

Despite all the complication, you could just dance to the rock'n'roll station
And it was alright. Lou Reed, but sung with venom by the Runaways.
