Caught in mid-flight

I thought these leaves that were stopped mid-way to the ground by the fir tree made for a beautiful site after some of our heavy downpour during the night. I am sure the next wind that arises, they will resume their drop to the ground...but for now...they are taking a slight rest. Even the birdhouse looks to be shut up for the winter!
