"Moomba"

It was wonderful to be in Melbourne today for the "Moomba" Parade. We have never had the opportunity to visit Melbourne at this time of the year and we were full of expectation as we caught the tram from Coburg into the city.
There were thousands of people with the same idea! There was no way that we were going to get anywhere near the parade, but as luck would have it - we found ourselves a great little viewing possy just near the end of the parade and had a birds eye view.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - the musical has been playing in Melbourne for many months and we were thrilled to see one of our favourite opera singers David Hobson driving the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Car in the parade.
