Happy New Year

Day 2 of camping! Today has been one of the most relaxing days of the year, so far! The weather has been unbelievable. Camping like we've never known. I was down to one layer - that too, my tank top. It was warm and sunny and soooo nice.

Martin and Elizabeth went off for a hike while Roberto and I stayed back and relaxed. Well kind of. We set off on our own adventure to find more wood for the fire and we found plenty.

We were soon joined by our friends Steve (in picture with Roberto sawing away) and Merrilee. They stayed for dinner by the campfire. It's been lovely to share the experience with them.
