Tree of Life

It's an iconic tourist destination, one of very few natural sightseeing entities that Bahrain possesses.

To this day, no one is really sure exactly how The Tree of Life has managed to survive in the middle of a dry desert with no other vegetation around it. But I read recently a quote about the 'tree', and it made me think about the island as a whole rather than just the tree.
"Where there's life there's hope - and, for The Tree of Life, it seems hope springs eternal, even where water doesn't"

Bahrain is an amazing little country. This land of two seas is the home to some of the friendliest and nicest people I have ever met. Two seas that flow together, perhaps reflecting a cultural divide, perhaps ideologies, perhaps just two sects of the same faith divided, but, like The Tree of Life, where there is life there is always hope.
