Catamarans at Dusk

This photograph was taken during late evening in Negombo, a fishing village in the west coast of Sri Lanka. Catamarans are traditional fishing boats used by the fishermen of Negombo. I saw the silhouettes of the boats, which were being pulled on to the beach, after their daily trip to the ocean. The vessels with the sails outlined against the sky looked dramatic against the setting sun, an opportunity not to be missed.
