strange find

grabbed the opportunity for a walk by the sea before the sun went down, after finishing a meeting with a client. the shoreline showed signs of having been battered in the recent shores. a few miles north the sea defences had been breached.

and then i found this. a man made rubber ring about 6 0r 8" in diameter (15-20cm) with some interesting sea life growing on it. i'm not sure what they were, but the sight was quite something.
