Winter Warmth

I love the warmth of wood heat. They say that wood heat warms twice: once in the gathering, twice in the burning. So true. This is as far as I wandered today. Didn't leave the house because the snow is dance-wax for the layer of rain that turned to solid ice underneath. I'll let the sanding crews make it all comfy for a foray out tomorrow. The dog slipped and fell twice...I wear cleats. Now she hates me.
