It's great to settle in before bed with a few classic Jasper Carrott anecdotes. I'm not sure any other comedian has ever come close to his level of comic storytelling; there's an art to the way that JC manages to begin a tale grounded firmly in reality, and then gradually ramps up the embellishments and absurdities until the audience are laughing so much that the fact the story has wandered into the realms of fantasy no longer bothers them.
