The beauty of Lace Caps

Well my life is just too social this week to get much time with my camera.
Tonight we had a street party as so many new folk had shifted into our street in the past year.
Met at 5pm and it was lovely and sunny and warm but cooled quickly. In spite of that had a very pleasant evening and most of the new folk were there, most worthwhile.

Photographed these lace cap hydrangeas at a friends house this morning. I never thought I liked them and preferred the big ordinary ones. Just might have a love affair with these ones now as when you look into them the variety and shades of colour are so beautiful. Would have needed to spend more time to get a perfect shot and did not have spare time unfortunately as had to prepare food for tonight.
Will go back for another try at a later date.
