The last Friday...

....of a very long month. January has been so miserable weatherwise with today being the third of almost continuous rain. So wet has it been that the redbrick at the corner of our house has absorbed enough of the lashing rain to make the walls inside damp. Not good as the front room is currently being decorated and this won't help progress.
Meanwhile we've been camping out in the dining room - a bit cramped when all the family are around. Tonight Tinky was happy enough to let daughter #2 tie a pink ribbon around her neck and was in a posing mood. So here she is looking rather regal I think.
January has also been a 'dry' month for those of us doing the Dryathlon: last night tonight though so tomorrow we can open one of those lovely bottles that we were given at Christmas!
