Cross Country

Another first for me. By chance I was passing the university in Stirling when I saw a number of runners who were taking part in a cross country event, I think it was an inter university competition.
I have never photographed a sporting event before but took a few images of the runners and quickly realised that it is not that easy to get a sharp image. On top of that it started to rain. However I was quite pleased with this shot.
