Surf's up . . . and over

As this morning was both sunny and windy, we hopped in the car and drove up to John o'Groats to look at the surf. We were not disappointed. There were also far more seabirds there than we have seen before, perhaps driven to shore by the high winds.
On the way back, we could see the vaporised spray drifting inland like smoke.
