Constellation Prize

Day 397 - finally having a proper grown up weekend off and after a leisurely pancake filled morning off we went to the 'Pool'.

The Tate Modern Liverpool in fact to get us some art yo!

We easily idled away the whole afternoon checking out the DLA Piper series: Constellations which arranges modern art history over nine constellations through corresponding art rather than chronological order - which is fab!

Most of the exhibition was thought provoking, the Marina Abramvic Rhythm piece was particularly disturbingly dark. Or fun like the Pollock and Robert Morris' reflective cubes which entertained the big dude for some time.

As you would expect in any collection of modern art there was some pretentious old nonsense - don't get me started on the Man Ray's sewing machine wrapped in a blanket and tied with string.

I personally think his photographs are better.

All cultured out now.
