today was a rare day to be able to go on a photo walk with the wife (doremigirl). she mentioned wanting to check out a nearby audubon bird sanctuary, so we went. it was a wonderful non-polar vortex winter day (40 degrees!), but still a little brisk by the end of our walk. we didn't get any good shots of birds ... they were very skittish whenever we'd get close. but it was still was great walk because i got to spend it with the one i love :)
