Singapore's Changi airport is three hours flying time and one and a half hours time difference from the mix of new and old at Yangon airport.

A floral leaning tower of Pisa, tribute to the Year of the Horse, shops devoted to chocolate and high end Bulgari and Tiffany all a far cry from a street stall stacked high with longyi, vendors selling peanut brittle and jade beaded bracelets.
