Abandoned

Wild wild weather yesterday - we went to look at the waves on the northside but it felt a bit foolish as they were huge and the wind was storm force, so we didn't linger. The internet disappeared into the ether, so I've backblipped for yesterday.
Today dawned calmer with even a small hint of blueness. We had a very enjoyable blip meet with Himself, Bat , TJ and CarolineL - this was third time lucky for the last two weekends have been too atrocious for wandering around the countryside. After hearty soup we headed off down to Kilcrohane and did the Paddock circuit - really nice and varied with little boreens, green pastures, a couple of standing stones, lots of mud, some curious but docile cattle, boulder strewn strand, more mud and a final walk back to the village. Great to have a catch up.
This little ruin won't be standing much longer - the roof has recently caved in. A shame for it has the most fantastic views out to sea.
