Fossil Finds

Walked along Seatown Beach today, since the weather was bright and sunny, if a tad chilly.
Took a fair few shots of the beach, Golden Cap, wild waves, rock falls, but decided to make this shot of my fossil finds my Blip for today. The largest is about 1.5 inches across and the smallest is only 1/2 inch across, so my eyes aren't bad for an oldun!
Ammonites, for those who don't know, and they are the most popular find for fossil hunters in the area, and once you "get your eye in" they become quite easy to spot!
Well they do for me anyway. These are reckoned to be approximately 180 million years old, by the way.
