Kale

While I have used an (EFB) Emergency Flower Blip before this is my first Emergency Fridge Blip.

This is of course purple kale (we ate the green kale so none to photograph), and is a brassica. I really love this winter vegetable, but I have no recollection of it being around when I was a child although it must have been.

Unfortunately for my mother I was a real vegetable hater as a child, but now I love most of them and only reserve my hatred for Brussels Sprouts, Cauliflower and peas.
