- It's delicious, it was my favourite dish when I was a kid. That's what Memere Clementine used to cook for Martin and me and our cousins... how do you call it again in English? How could I have forgotten... it's... it's... it's on the tip of my tongue... it's langue de boeuf!*



* Ox tongue, a culinary delight (it's the tomato-gherkin-capers sauce that really does it) and an extremely effective form of contraception (Mrs Raheny found this so revolting that I doubt very much that she'll kiss me again this side of Easter...)
