By the Bay of Skail

I assume that this is an old winch for pulling fishing boats form the sea. There are a lot of them around the coasts of Orkney. I walked around Birsay to Skail, this is near the neolithic village of Skara Brae.
I rather forgot about the clocks going back, so was caught out in the dark. Hence the flash here. I had to shelter in a derelict house while a shower passed, but then it was nice as a large moon appeared between the broken clouds.
