Iceland - Day 3

Last day of the holiday today. Lazy start today had a wander up to see Hallgrimskirkja (church) it was pretty spectacular and there were great views from the top of the tower over Reykjavik, it's amazing how colourful the houses are. Spent the afternoon whale watching, not sure I've ever been that cold before!! We had 2 layers of thermals, fleece, coat and a padded flotation suit on yet we were still cold and didn't see anything besides Cormorants and Gulls! Mother nature hasn't been kind so far in this trip!

Final chance to hunt the elusive Aurora Borealis tonight.....didn't get to see it bright in the sky, yet managed to capture it on the camera, strange the camera sees it yet the human eye doesn't!!
