Pecked to death by Penguins

The first of a series of Gentoo chick counts. Many chicks have developed their full adult feathers and lost their fluffy down, apart from a little mane.

After counting we stayed a while to interact with them. They're very curious and if you sit, or lie, still they'll come up for a bit of a peck. This one tried to take my glasses off then got interested in a toggle on my jacket.
