After the fire

With the hot dry weather and strong winds, fires are raging all around us. This is the after effect of one over the weekend and today another has started in the bush behind our village.
Our firemen and women are working non stop, not only fighting the fires, but also rescuing the tortoises and other small creatures as they try to flee.
