a rainbow welcome

The week started with what turned out to be a fairly positive trip to the dentist. I had been dreading it and had been putting it off for ages, but I was glad I went in the end.

Then this afternoon we visited our eldest daughter in her new home. She has taken the lease on a small farm not far from here. 26 acres of rolling pasture, lots of big and small outbuildings, pens and paddocks, sheds and a garden and at the highest point of the land these two huge stones.
The larger one is resting on two or more smaller ones and looks as though it may have once been some sort of structure which has collapsed. The other looked as though it may have stood upright. But then they might be just part of the bones of the earth, left behind when the land was originally cleared.
Hopefully we might be able to find out.

It was great to see her so happy and so full of ideas and we hope it works out for her.
