Can you tell I have a tripod?

It's been a long, crazy day, followed by orchestra rehearsal. I haven't been out with my camera so here is what I snapped using my new Christmas tripod (thanks a bunch, Tai!).

I'm enjoying the set of workbooks issued to me by my new teacher. I think I'm seeing some significant improvements in technique which in turn inspires me to push on.

Only three more weeks 'til showtime. Gulp!
