Big Day Out

The older 2 McDs had a great day yesterday after getting involved in a scavenger hunt organised by one of their fave Aussie bands - Bliss n Eso - to win tickets to the Big Day Out (today).

So they were ready and waiting in the city to get the first clue at 6.30 and within 10 mins they had cracked the remaining 2 clues and were heading up to the bands hotel room ! They walked out of the lift to be greeted by a camera crew and then knocked on the hotel room door to greeted by the band!! Jessie was totally hysterical and Scott was just gob smacked! Great fun! It was great to see them so excited and they lots of great piccys!

So today was a bit of taxi duty to drop them off at the festival - Dave and me went for drive along the coast - It was very windy but bracing! Then we went to the Pines at Joondalup - our great local outdoor cinema - to watch "Hijacking" - an excellent Danish film (easily better than Captain Phillips ) Great timing as we picked up the party goers on the way home - they were all danced and shouted out!
