Chain

6.6C starting wet and windy, easing in the middle of the day, then wet and windy again towards evening.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. The rain had gone off before lunch and it had dried up a bit. We walked down the road to the shore and along to the level crossing then down to the beach.

We walked along towards Easthaven. The tide was well out. We had a look for Sea Glass and ceramic pieces but only found one piece with colour. The sand was very deep. By the look of the dunes they have mostly been pulled back onto the beach and the sand is all lying between the rocks and the back of the beach. We didn't see another soul.

Back at the fishermen's huts I took a few pictures. This one is a chain holding down the engine cover on one of the tractors. This tractor is mid restoration and isn't yet used for taking boats up and down to the water.
