I'm fascinated by circuit boards. The orderly rows of perfectly aligned components look like miniature cityscapes. Some boards feature a variety of colourful semiconductors like little ethnic neighbourhoods. Integrated circuits like these have less visual appeal on their own but form interesting patterns when combined in groups.

Fisheye view produced by an ōlloclip lens held very close. Then applied Drama and Grunge effects in Snapseed.

I tried some macro shots with the ōlloclip; but the depth of field is very shallow and most of the image was blurred unless I composed a simple flat view. Next time I may try using a small mirror to get a viewpoint down at board level and in between the components.
