Which to read tonight?

One of the best things about book club - admittedly more like wine club or baby club most of the time - is that it makes me read things I wouldn't normally choose. Like A Passage to India. I'm not sure how much I'm enjoying the story, but I like how it carries me off to an unfamiliar land in a compleyely different era, where the Indians and the English have such fascinating attitudes to life and death and each other.

Or I could delve into The Week where I'll probably find plenty of attitudes, some of them as outdated if not repellent as the Colonials at the end of the Raj if they've got a story on Nick Griffin...
