Flores tempranas de la primavera

Early Spring flowers. Another EFB as I sadly missed the chance to blip the fiesty Menorquin post office employee who resolutely refuses to understand any English and pulls exaggerated faces of incomprehension when faced with questions in halting Spanish by Brits. Today however she cracked a smile (the rare missed blip) and said her 18-year-old daughter was taking English lessons for which she was paying (disgusted grimace). I did understand that, despite her curiously English way of repeating a phrase louder, as though the recipient were deaf or stupid, when just speaking more slowly and toning down the Catalan accent a little would be more helpful.
