A bit of what you fancy...

Awful weather again today and no chance of getting out for an image this evening.

This miniature whisky is certainly older than the date on the bottle as it must have been on the shelf for at least 8 years. I like a dram now and again but as I'm usually driving rarely get chance to.

This was a simple shot using the stair balustrade as the platform for the bottle. The lighting was courtesy of a speed light fired off camera via a TTL cord. Choosing a small aperture and the flash sync speed of 1/200th meant little ambient light was registered. A little lifting of the shadows in lightroom and a crop was all that was needed.

Hopefully I'll get chance to get out at the weekend before a visit to Sheffield on Sunday for the ice hockey.
