Magnolia Leaf Snow Shadow

We watched the first few flakes of snow fall this morning on our early morning walk.

An occasional gust of wind swirling the flakes around made our faces sting.

One gust must have disturbed this leaf revealing its snow shadow.

We ended our walk a bit early, glad to get inside for a hot cup of coffee.
