Car ferry to Waiheke and Great Barrier Island

You can catch the car ferry to Great Barrier Island at North Wharf. Definitely on my bucket list.

The last time I went to Great Barrier was in the 80s, on a scuba diving trip. We went on a charter dive boat in the evening. One of the divers, a german chap, snored so loudly that he was requested to spend the rest of the night in the dinghy.
