Ninety Nine Red Balloons

I was out and about in Alcester today and discovered that they are having a promotion for the British Heart Foundation tied in with forthcoming St. Valentine's day. The slogan is 'Paint the Town Red' and all the shops have red products in the windows and are decked out with red balloons.Very pretty it looked too in the morning sunshine. This is a local tea room's contribution to the event.

Alcester has more tea shops to the square metre than anywhere else I know. Coincidentally there are also quite a number of charity shops. Perhaps people chucking out all the clothes which no longer fit them after going to the tea rooms. I blame it on the great cup-cake invasion of the early noughties. Perhaps they should have diabetes awareness day next.
