Moss on trees

I really lucked out with the weather last weekend and had beautiful sunshine all day until I took off my muddy shoes at the end of a long walk through the woods, then it rained cats and dogs.

What really interested me was that this apparently verdant part of the forest only had green on the trees. Then again I guess it is still the winter. I'll definitely be back in the summer. Apparently it's a sea of bluebells then.
