Strider

Our neighbor and friend, who attends preschool with E, recently learned to ride a bike sans training wheels - at age 3.5! His parents attribute the success to this Strider bike, which has no pedals or training wheels, and helps kids master the balancing act that bike riding requires. When we lived in Germany, these were very common among preschoolers as well, and were called "running bikes." So, E has the Strider now on long-term loan, and this afternoon there was enough sunshine to warrant a trip to the playground. I love the smile on his face and both feet up in the air!

Overall, a nice normal Tuesday. Work, school, a bit of sunshine, and we'll round out the rest of the day with swim lessons and a quiet evening at home.
