Strange Things on the Beach

I wandered down to the beach today to see what the storms had washed up. Amongst all the usual drift wood which included whole trees, were various car parts, huge industrial tubes, various fishing accessories and shell fish was this strange object. Not really sure what it was but i'm sure something use to live in each one of the bubbles..
