The Kingfisher

Our latest foster. She's a bit worse for wear so here for some TLC. Two factors known to be high risk stack up against her. 1 she's a kingfisher which are notoriously hard to bring back to health and 2 she was dragged in by a cat. Most birds who have been subjected to cat attack simply dont make it.

Here she's feeding from the hand for the first time, looking strong and eating well. But we know well that is no guarantee.

So all you blippers need to send her positive get well vibes to help her through.
