Missing Gate - Carbis Avenue / Blackleach Avenue

The long standing saga of the missing gate at the end
of the public footpath leading from Carbis Avenue to
Blackleach Avenue has now been resolved. Lancashire
County Council has erected two wooden bollards which
should now prevent vehicles from using the linked
footway as a short-cut whilst maintaining access for
people with disabilities, push chairs, and maintenance
purposes.
The local Police and residents have had concerns about
this missing gate since it was removed for repair and
was never put back. Redrow Residents Association and
Grimsargh Parish Council have pursued these concerns
and finally it has been resolved.
Up early and out for a paper and photo before the weather worsens. I appear to be more energetic this morning, long may it continue.
