Lych gate in the sunshine

This is the very old Lych Gate which stands outside Holy Trinity Church in Hatton. It looked so lovely lit up in the sunshine this morning that I felt compelled to stop and take a photograph. Sunshine was the last thing I was expecting after all the severe weather warnings, but nevertheless it is bright and sunny but extremely windy outside. It's the strength of wind where you can feel the car being blown side ways as a gust hits you and it certainly made taking photos very interesting - thank goodness for the 'camera shake' setting!
