I discovered that a hardware store in town does a workshop with kids twice a month. Being that she's home schooled, I try to get her into these sorts of things whenever possible. Today was her first one. She built a Valentine note holder. I had to help a few times even though I got, "I want to do this myself." For her efforts she got her holder, goggles, a lovely apron, a certificate, a name tag, and a badge depicting what she made. She absolutely cannot wait for the next one.
